Chenzhou Municipal Public Security Bureau Traffic Police Detachment,  directly under city's Municipal Public Security Bureau at a  deputy department 's level , is in charge of road traffic safety, traffic order, vehicle and driver management.
Municipal Public Security Bureau traffic management team consists of 7 internal departments including traffic control detachment office, political office, Audit and Supervision office, the traffic order Management office, legal publicity division, science and technology division and logistics equipment division, 6 subordinate departments at the section level, and 1 motor vehicle safety technology Inspection station.
